Is Your Business KLT Compliant

What is KLT?

KLT stands for Know.Like.Trust.

People do not do business with those they do not know, like or trust. You would not do business with people or businesses you do not know, like or trust. Same way people will not do business with you if they do not know, like or trust you.

This is why it is very important to position yourself and your business in a way that your audience/ideal clients can get to know you, like you and then ultimately trust you.

I am sure you are wondering how your business can be known, liked and trusted. This blog post will focus on how you can be known.

Why are you in business? To make money? Great. But you cannot make money without customers; and you cannot get customers without being KNOWN.

To be Known, you have to do the following:

- Build your business brand and make sure it is infused through all you do.

- Identify your ideal clients and what they are looking for and what they want to hear or see.

- Understand what they look for when they are searching for services you provide.

- Understand where they are looking for the service you provide

Your ideal clients do not know you yet so you have to find them and then introduce yourself and what you do to them – bare in mind, this is not the time for sales pitch.

Also, know this, knowing of someone is different from know them. How do you know someone? It is through information. It is easy for someone to know of you but what you want is for your ideal clients to really know you which includes you sharing information about yourself, your business, services/products and even personal stuff. Be transparent.

These are some ways in which you can be known. During the week, I will share the remaining 2 aspects of KLT – Like and Trust.
